This Berkeley Park Residence has been a special remodel project. The homeowners and HQA salvaged the original 1930s Arts and Crafts ranch home's front facade, complementing its brick and wood work with a two-story addition in shake and siding. 

The home's thoughtful details continue through the interior with Arts-and-Crafts built-ins. detailed fireplace mantels, stair rails and ceiling trim, storage bench in the Mud Room, paneled walls in the Breakfast Nook, window seat at the Stairs flooded by southern light, and a paneled built-in seat at the second floor as a shared reading space for the homeowners and their children to come together in the evening.
